Terms of Service

1. What InnFinder is

InnFinder (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a discovery and referral service, operated by ValidPixel LLC, that helps travelers find independently owned inns and bed & breakfasts. We are not a booking agent, a travel agency, or a party to any reservation you make. We don't process payments, hold your card details, or confirm availability — every booking happens directly with the inn or through the inn's own booking channel.

2. How listings are sourced, and accuracy

We build and refresh listings from public business data (including Google Places), then add an editorial description, tags, and an “authenticity score” generated by AI. The authenticity score is a confidence signal that a listing is an independent business, not a quality or star rating, and not a guarantee of accuracy. Names, addresses, photos, tags, and availability can be outdated or wrong. Confirm details directly with the inn before booking or traveling.

Listings are added this way without requiring the business to sign up first — the same basis most travel directories operate on. If you own or operate a listed business and believe something about your listing is inaccurate, or you'd like it corrected or removed, claiming it is the fastest way to fix it yourself (see “Claiming a listing” below), or reach out (see “Contact” below) and we'll review the request.

3. Affiliate links

Some “Check availability” links route through affiliate partners, and we may earn a commission if you book through one. This never changes the price you pay. An affiliate relationship isn't an endorsement beyond our own authenticity review, and we don't control the destination site's content, pricing, or availability once you leave InnFinder.

4. Claiming a listing

Claiming a listing only confirms that you control the email address used to claim it — it is not proof of legal ownership or authority to act on the business's behalf. We may ask for additional verification, decline a claim, or revoke one we believe was made in error or bad faith, at our discretion.

5. Content you submit

If you submit content as a claimed owner — a booking link, guest testimonials, or anything else — you're responsible for having the right to post it and for its accuracy. We may remove or edit submitted content at our discretion, including content that appears fabricated, infringing, or misleading.

6. No warranty

InnFinder is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any listing is accurate, available, or suitable for your trip.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither ValidPixel LLC nor InnFinder is liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or any booking, stay, or transaction with a listed inn or affiliate partner.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. We'll update the date above when we do; continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
