The Norwich Inn
93% independentA Victorian landmark on Norwich's Main Street, this inn pairs polished rooms and suites with something rarer: its own brewery and pub downstairs. Dinner, a pint brewed on the premises, and a staircase to bed — the whole evening happens under one roof. The banquet and event spaces make it a fixture for local gatherings as much as a place for travelers to land.
Why we call this independent
The name is tied to a single small Vermont town with no chain naming pattern or multi-location signals, and the Victorian building with its own brewery, pub, and banquet hall points to an owner-operated property. A standalone domain (norwichinn.com) and a modest 172-review count reinforce the independent, small-scale profile.
