Wellness independent inns

Perched on a landscaped hillside above the river in West Asheville, OM Sanctuary trades television for birdsong — rooms, cabins and suites here are deliberately screen-free. It's a wellness retreat first and a place to sleep second, with grounds that invite slow walking as much as the Blue Ridge air invites deep breathing. Guests rate it warmly, and the .org web address hints at a mission that runs deeper than hospitality.
