Camden, Maine
A bed-and-breakfast tucked onto Elm Street in the heart of Camden, Maine, the Captain Swift Inn sits within easy reach of the harbor town's shops and sidewalks. Guests are unusually consistent in their praise — a flawless 5-star average across 272 reviews, the kind of record that only comes from a small house where someone is paying close attention. It keeps its own website and its own name, with no chain affiliation in sight.
