Near Asheville independent inns

Tucked onto a residential hillside road in Swannanoa, just east of Asheville, Little Brother Lodge is the kind of small, under-the-radar stay that trades lobby bustle for quiet. It's listed and booked directly through Airbnb, and the handful of guests who have stayed rate it 4.8 — a sign of a modest place doing the basics well. Details are few, which feels about right for a lodge that seems happiest letting the Blue Ridge foothills do the talking.
