Motor court independent inns

A cluster of freestanding log cabins set just north of downtown Asheville on Weaverville Road, this is the rare survivor of the American motor court — lodging arranged as individual cottages rather than a corridor of doors. Guests have left it a 4.5 rating across more than 365 reviews, and it keeps its own small website rather than answering to a reservation system. Expect timber walls and a parking spot at your door, with the Blue Ridge city a short drive away.
