Adventure independent inns

Okemo Mountain Resort sprawls across a Ludlow hillside as a full-scale ski destination rather than a tucked-away inn, with broad terrain for skiers and riders and a year-round adventure zone anchored by a mountain coaster. Lodging here comes with modern resort amenities and the steady hum of a mountain that draws crowds — nearly 4,000 reviewers have weighed in, settling it at a solid 4.5.
