Meadow Glen Inn & Cottages
92% independentTucked along Wildes District Road on the quieter edge of Kennebunkport, Meadow Glen Inn & Cottages keeps things unhurried: a small cluster of homey rooms and standalone cottages, each with a full kitchen for travelers who'd rather cook the day's catch than book a table. A light breakfast is included, and the handful of reviews so far have been unanimously glowing. It's a low-key coastal Maine base rather than a polished resort — which is precisely the point.
Why we call this independent
The name follows a classic independent inn-and-cottage pattern with no chain or brand markers, it's categorized as a bed_and_breakfast, and the tiny review count (2) plus a small mixed complex of rooms and cottages suggests an owner-operated property rather than a multi-location operator.
